Live from Oregon! Just one of a few hundred small mouth bass hooked by our 13 participants at our 11th Annual Oregon Retreat in Elkton. At the Big-K Guest Ranch on the banks of the Umpqua River, these men are having the times of their lives – and not just because of the fishing! Great camaraderie, laughs, tears, and deep bonding – “I have learned I am not alone, and now have 13 new friends for life.” Be Well! Fish On!100_7662

    What a great event that was. This retreat as my fourth as a buddy. Sadly, my truck went kaput and I was unable to drag my drift boat down to Elkton. Nevertheless, there were more buddies (and even boats) than ever! I was reduced to almost washing dishes for the weekend. But no matter the job, just being around those guys each year is a never-ending gift and a yearly reminder of how precious life is; that each day should be lived to the fullest.

    Stan ought to come out to Oregon more often to conduct our retreats. A little helping of Paradise never hurt anyone.
